Formatting the Text
Formatting the text is similar to formatting the text in Word or PowerPoint

1. Select Format and than select Font or choose a Font from the toolbar
2. The Font box will allow the selection of a Font.

3. Font options
There is debate over which font type is better for website serif or sans-serif. Serif type is considered easier to read however sans-serif tends to have a cleaner look.
The type used in this website is Arial and it is a sans-serif font.
SERIF Serif fonts are any of the fonts that have bases on the letters SANS-SERIF Sans-Serif fonts do not have a base or serif What ever is chosen back sure that it is not too cluttered
Examples of Bad Fonts
Fonts that are highly shaded
Fonts that are illegible
Fonts that are too stylized
Fonts that are too thick
Fonts that are too fancy
These fonts need to be enlarged to make them legible as a result they are not workable for text however they can be used for titles. Several of the faculty websites associated with this site use these fonts as titles.
Try out several fonts and find what works best
4. Font Color
Each theme automatically assigns a font color that compliments the theme. However these colors can be changed by using either the Create New Theme feature or just using the selecting Font and than Color in the font box or using the Toolbar and selecting A.

Additional colors can be picked by selecting the More Color option at the bottom of the color box

5. Some colors change when the file is published. Check on Preview at the bottom of the screen to see the what the color looks like when published.
