Reinforces concepts covered in CHE 170 and introduces basic laboratory techniques, methods, and instrumentation through selected experiments. Emphasizes both quantitative and qualitative techniques.

ACT of 21 or above or completion of MT 150
Concurrent enrollment in CHE
Competencies
1. Recognize chemical hazards in the laboratory.
