Professional Development

·         You will be required to login.  You must enter kctcsacc\ in front of your user name, as shown below:

·         Once you have entered the site, these 3 button will be of significant interest to you:  cid:image006.jpg@01C91C93.C843B320 

 

·         The Available Courses button is used to actually register for sessions.  Once you click on this button, you will be presented with a drop down menu displaying the classifications for sessions:

o   Then, click submit to see the offerings in this classification.

o   To register for a session, click the radio button in the title bar of the individual session, and click Submit.  You can only register for one session at a time.  You will not only be registered for this session, but a copy of the description will be placed in your personal PD Account.

 

·         The Request a Course button is used to request an additional professional development session.  If there is something you would really like to see us offer, just request the session!

 

·         The Your PD Account is a location where you may store information regarding all of your professional development activities.  This service is offered as a convenience to you to assist you in keeping track of sessions/conferences/seminars/online training, etc. you have attended.  (It will also help me in compiling my end-of-year POD report.)  The Add a Session link is for you to add items to your professional development portfolio outside of the scope of the offerings in this site.
